HD32.3TC - HD32.3TCA - PMV/PPD - comfort, thermisch comfort, radiation, turbulence, draft rate. ISO7726, ISO7730, ISO7243.

HD32.3TC and HD32.3TCA have exactly the same possibilities. The difference between the 2 codes:

HD32.3TC is the portable version, mostly used in combination with a table stand (small tripod).
HD32.3TCA is the version that is being used with a stable tripod, suitable to be used for measurements during a longer period.
Technically the difference is simple: with the HD32.3TCA the sensors are being connected by a cable and a black globe of 150mm is used. With the HD32.3TC the black globe is 50mm and the sensors are being connected directly on top of the instrument. Both are fully according to the applicable ISO regulations.

HD32.3TC(A) is the next generation in measuring Thermal Comfort, the ultimate portable data logger for the measurement of the microclimate and the analysis of the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

HD32.3TC(A) measure simultaneously - depending on the sensors as connected:
• T dry bulb temperature
• Tnw natural ventilation wet bulb temperature
• Tg globe thermometer temperature
• RH relative humidity
• Va air speed
• Patm atmospheric pressure


And calulates:

• PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) index
• PPD (Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied) index

• Mean radiant temperature Tr
• TU (Turbolence) index
• DR (Draft Rate) index

• WBGT indoor (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) index in absence of solar irradiation
• WBGT outdoor (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) index in presence of solar irradiation

A bright and clear touch display allows the calculated values for WBGT, PMV/PPD and TU to be directly visible. The data are immediately available via “cloud” application accessible remotely via Wi-Fi connection. The data logger has a large memory capacity for long lasting measurement cycles. Moreover, the rechargeable battery guarantees a working autonomy of at least 24 hours.

The HD32.3TC and HD32.3TCA partly replace the HD32.3 and HD32.3A instruments, but these will still be in our program – repair and maintenance for the old series will of course stay available.
