HD35AP - Base unit: central access point to the datalogger system
The base unt is the centrall access point or interface between the loggers and the PC or Network.
It communicates in 2 directions:
1- it receives all information of the dataloggers that are measuring the required data. This communication is a 'closed circuit' at 868MHz (for Europe) or at specified frequencies for Japan and US.
2- it communicates with the local network or with a stand-alone PC. The measured data of the loggers is stored in a central MySQL database. The available ways to connect are:
- USB connection to a PC. Used for setting-up or changing any parameters. This connection can also be used to power the baseunit and to download data.
- Ethernet connection: to connect the baseunit to the network where the database is located. The base unit has its own IP address/ port number. The unit communicates through the network with the central MySQL database.
- WiFi connection: to connect the baseunit to the Wireless Local network. The base unit has its own IP address/ port number. The unit communicates through the network with the central MySQL database.
When the unit has its own IP address, alarms can be generated by email directly by the HD35APW itself.
When connected by USB the unit will powered by USB - in all other cases we advise to use the HD35APWKIT1, including 230V Power supply unit.
